After the announcement, 85 people got their names enrolled as the members of the Society giving a very grand Beginning for the Club. All the Club enthusiasts joined together to make it a grand success. A team of Office Bearers has been formed with the approval from the members as per the guidelines given by SAEINDIA. We have categorized ourselves into different Chairs (like Publicity Chair, Program Chair etc), electing a leader for each Chair. The work has been distributed. We have started a blog to keep the members updated with the Club activities.
Our club is planning to give active participation in the Annual Convention of SAEINDIA South Section which is celebrated very grandly every year. And as a part of the qualifying criteria, participants from the club will be giving tough competition in Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 events. The major competitions that we are presently focusing at are aero modeling, PRO-E Design Contest, Paper PresentationsandAutoQuiz.
We are also planning to arrange Factory visits for the students, to give practical exposure towards the Live-Industrial scenario of Automobile Industry. Arranging Guest Speakers on various recent Innovative and Technological trends is also underconsideration.
